Struggling with Point of View? Maybe this will help—
A secret to writing Point of View is to evaluate the distance separating your character from the action. The closer your character is to the action, the better. For example--
Imagine you're coming home after a long day at work. You grab a drink, prop up your feet, and open the newspaper. At the bottom of page three of the metro section you see a small article about a car crash on the freeway. With all the accidents on the freeways today, this is definitely not front page material. You turn to the comics, thinking nothing of it.
