I had a book ready to go to committee. I practiced my gracious contract acceptance speech. Then they closed their fiction line. Sigh.

Unfortunately, there are any number of stories of books in the works that never made it onto the shelves for one reason or another. Part of the publishing life. All we can do is...like you said... back to the keyboard and keep at it.

Heartwrenching. LOL. & you're so oh well about it..
